I have a question and I need a damn answer from the Obama administration. Who the hell is Leon Panetta and why the hell does he get to head the CIA? You’d think that in a time of global unrest Obama would use those elephant ears of his and listen to the war drums over in Russia, Iran, Palestine and choose someone who carries at least a little intelligence experience.
I commend him on keeping Gates as defense secretary and while his first pick for the head of the CIA was not perfect it was still a lot better than this idiot who we’re gonna have to trust. Its funny that everyone blamed Bush for not finding WMD’s (when they were obviously moved from Iraq to Syria) and while other things are to blame the major blame goes to faulty evidence by the CIA. You’d think Obama would take heed and make sure he gets someone who can at least read a classified document and know how to shut up his mouth and when to open it.
Well I’m not sorry for the morons who voted this joker in office. Your pay day has come.

This sounds interesting, former eBay CEO Meg Whitman plans to run for the highest office in the California government come 2010. Due to term limits on Arnald’s reign as the Governator Med Witman the 52-year-old Republican will be open to fight for the office in the coming elections.
While she has not announced it formally, due to the fact that she decided over the holiday season, she does plan to make the announcement official in a 4-6 weeks.
Witman stepped down from the boards of eBay, Procter & Gamble Co. and DreamWorks SKG last week. She also retired after 10 years at the helm of eBay. A billionaire, she retains a 2 percent ownership stake in the online auction company.
“Meg’s vision and leadership and her passion for the eBay community have helped create economic opportunity for millions of people worldwide and enabled us to build a dynamic portfolio of leading online businesses,” he said. “Her experience and insights will be missed, but Meg will always be a part of the eBay family, and we wish her the very best.” - John Donahoe - eBay President and Chief Executive
Mrs. Whitman is not a stranger to politics as she worked on both the Mitt Romney and John McCain campaign. Whitman has known Romney for quite a few years as they worked at Bain and Co. a global consulting firm before Romney left and started the company (Bain Capital) the venture capital firm that gave him his millions.

In just another case of how brazen Blagojevich is, he has gone through with appointing General Roland Burris to take Barack Obama’s seat in the senate. Just how far will this man go? And I expected better General Roland Burris. I don’t see what the hell is wrong with the politics in my home state.
I would say more but I’ll let the General himself explain why he has accepted the seat even though the guy who has appointed him is under federal investigation for corruption charges.

Why does it matter what Peter Yarrow thinks? Well mainly because he and “Puff” Lenny Lipton were the ones who wrote the original “masterpiece” that was spoofed by Paul Shanklin. Here are the words of Peter Yarrow on the ultra liberal blog the “Huffington Post.”
The sending of a Christmas greeting by Chip Saltsman to the members of the Republican National Committee that includes a recording of the so-called parody, “Barack the Magic Negro” is not only offensive, it is shocking and saddening in the extreme. It flies in the face of America’s deeply held hope for a new era in which common ground and mutual respect characterize the exchanges between our national leaders.
I and my co-writer of “Puff,” Lenny Lipton, have been eagerly awaiting an end to the mean-spiritedness, outright disrespect and bigotry that was commonplace prior to this last presidential election. What might have been wearily accepted as “the way it was” in the campaign, is now unacceptable. Obama is not a candidate. He is the President-Elect, and this song insults the office of the Presidency, the people who voted for him, as well as those who did not — and taking a children’s song and twisting it in such vulgar, mean-spirited way, is a slur to our entire country and our common agreement to move beyond racism.
It is almost unimaginable to me that Chip Saltzman who sent the CD, would seriously be considered for the top post of the Republican National Committee. Puff, himself, if asked, would certainly agree.
Well guess what Peter? I don’t give a damn and neither does the Republican party. And out of total contempt for this mans idiotic statement I shall once again give you the video to watch.

In case you’re wondering exactly why I was so against the original $700 billion bailout package let me just inform you now that the government has extracted over $7 trillion from tax payers to keep the auto companies in business and all the other pork barrel spending projects. Not only that but all the environmental whackjobs are asking Barack the magic Negroto set aside $10 billion to install solar panels on government buildings and install some type of alternative energy system in two government buildings.
To make matters worse every state ruled by liberal politicians are asking for billions of dollars to bail them out except for Florida (which is Republican), California (thanks to the Govornator) and New York (NYC) who has decided to raise the taxes on its families $4,000.
I knew this was coming, and that’s why I have recently come to the philosophy that unless we revolt against our corrupt politicians we will never be the same.

This has probably been one of the most memorable years in political history. Not because of all the corruption charges and super wins but mainly because many of them were not expected. So after following this year’s election and political news I have compiled a list of five of the smartest and five of the dumbest politicians of 2008. Mind I remind you this has nothing to do with their performance as a politician but rather how they were able to convince voters to either vote or not vote for them.

Obama may leave office as being one of the greatest President’s of all time (I’m hoping that will be the case) but there is one thing people need to get straight; Obama is not, and I repeat, NOT Abraham Lincoln.
When Lincoln came to Washington he was an outsider and many claim Obama is an outsider also. The reason why this cannot be true is within the year or so that his name has shot up to fame Obama has chosen some of the most corrupt people in Washington to be his aides and advisors.
Most importantly just because he is a lawyer and Lincoln was does not make them equal. May I remind you that Clinton was a lawyer before he moved into the White House (need I say more). More importantly Lincoln was driven by a moral compass, there is nothing moral about having connections to terrorists or those who preach hate from their church pulpits or worse a wife who hates the US.
I’m not saying Obama is an exception to Washington politics. All I’m saying is that he cannot be compaired to Abraham Lincoln.

I don’t know how long it would take them to do this but finally they are. The Illinois house is currently starting the impeachment process of disgraced governor Blagojevich.
Something tells me that the reason why this investigation was busted so early is because there were those in Obama’s cabinet who were in on the deal and so to prevent their fall Blagojevich took it. As the saying goes, “some die so others may live.

Its obvious that the Democrats get into just as much scandals as the Republican’s but its quite odd when you hear that the scandal involves a state governor and president-elect. Worse of all it involves the guy who is supposed to bring “change” to America. He sure has brought change alright, first president-elect to be involved in more scandals than most President’s are in their lifetime (unless you’re Clinton for that matter) Nixon did way less and was almost empeached and Reagon had a one minor mishap and that was blown up.
I’m sure you guys have all heard what happened to Rod Blagojevich. But I bet you haven’t heard about the Obama connection (special thanks goes to the media for this one). Obama has said in no uncertain terms that he has no connection with him and the scandal laden governor. Yet papers and transcripts say other wise.
Obama endorsed Blagojevich in 2002
Blagojevich returned the favor in 2004
But what is most incriminating is the words from Obama’s senior administration adviser on David Axelrod on November 23.
I know he’s talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them.
I’m not saying Obama has done anything wrong here but I’d like to see what those talks were that he and Blagojevich carried on behind closed doors (or secure phone lines).

Its not like this is odd news, Sarah Palin actually came away with a win when she ran opposite McCain a few months ago. The reason why is although she lost she revitalized the Republican base. Now that’s not to say there are not others who wouldn’t be interested in picking up where she left off but somehow I think Palin is going to be a major deciding factor in 2012.
Among those vying for the nomination in 2012 is Mitt Romney, Palin (of course), Huckabee, Newt and of course Bobby (from Louisiana). Personally I believe that the perfect ticket for 2012 (on the Republican side) is a Romney/Palin ticket. That’s not to say the others aren’t good but those have the best chance against a political machine such as Obama.
We’ll just have to see but I have a gut feeling that Palin is no where near over. What do you think?
