In just another case of how brazen Blagojevich is, he has gone through with appointing General Roland Burris to take Barack Obama’s seat in the senate. Just how far will this man go? And I expected better General Roland Burris. I don’t see what the hell is wrong with the politics in my home state.

I would say more but I’ll let the General himself explain why he has accepted the seat even though the guy who has appointed him is under federal investigation for corruption charges.

This has probably been one of the most memorable years in political history. Not because of all the corruption charges and super wins but mainly because many of them were not expected. So after following this year’s election and political news I have compiled a list of five of the smartest and five of the dumbest politicians of 2008. Mind I remind you this has nothing to do with their performance as a politician but rather how they were able to convince voters to either vote or not vote for them.

According to the FBI the sex trade is even more profitable than the drug trade. But more outstanding is the fact that it not only targets Asian and other ethnic women but even American girls. Take the story shared in the video below for example. She was told that she would be studying abroad only to find out that “plans had been rearranged” and she would have to work out of a night club.

You might have remembered that back in January this guy came on Today Show who had literally turned blue due to his use of heavy metals to treat dermatitis. Well after much convincing he decided to do a test to make sure he was in good health and the results have come back. As the title suggests he is in good health and has turned into a mini-celebrity even in NYC.

I’m going to be honest with you, Coldplay is my favorite band hands down and although I own every single CD they have ever released (and a few LP’s and EP’s) I have got to say that yes they did take inspiration from Joe Satriani for their hit song Viva La Vida.

In any case the bad ass guitarist is suing Coldplay for the success of their song and claims that “Viva” is way too similar to his 2004 instrumental If I could Fly. Taking into account that Viva La Vida topped the charts in 36 countries we could be talking huge sums here. But I’ll let you decide for yourself. Both Coldplay’s song and Joe Satriani’s songs can be listened/watched below.

This is absolutely hilarious. A Greenville NC Catholic Priest is under fire because he told his parishioners to repent of their sin (if the voted for Obama) before receiving communion.

I don’t know why I find this funny because I actually agree with the guy. As I said I don’t agree with most things practiced in religions today but its a fundamental of the Catholic faith that abortion is wrong (even though the Priests and Fathers do it to cover their crimes). So any Catholic who voted for Obama should repent because the guy supports things their religion says is wrong.

And no I’m not about to call down fire from heaven on the man because this is a free country. If you don’t like what he says go find yourself a gay loving pro rights pastor. They’re not hard to find these days you know.

I’m not going to go into too much detail here as that would be unnecessary but that cool computer that you saw Tom Cruise demo in Minority report (which was theoretically possible but un-invented at the time) has finally become a reality.

Thanks to one of the science advisors from the film along with a couple of tech geeks who obviously had too much time on their hand, the system has been made.
