Take offense, call me racist, frankly I don’t give a damn. This world is too up tight. Had this video been done about Condi or Powell half those who are making a fuss about it now would have kept quiet. So say what you will its useless.

BTW you can view the video below.

UPADTE: The original video was deleted by YouTube so I found another version. Song is identical but the pictures are different.

colin-powell Colin Powells endorsement of Obama is based on raceRush Limbaugh has been hammered by the media for daring to say that Colin Powell’s endorsement of Barack Obama was based on race and deep down inside Colin Powell is nothing but a liberal in Republican disguise. Well I’m sorry to break it to you but if you have not already noticed this than you must not have been paying attention to the news. Why else would Bush have to relieve him of his duties back in ‘04?

Not only that but he is pro-abortion, pro-affirmative action and not to mention his lunatic ideas about having talks with known terrorists. Not only that but he claims that his main reason for his Barack Obama endorsement is because Sarah Palin is not qualified to take over if McCain should pay the ultimate price. Well face it Mr. Powell, Barack Obama has just as much experience on foreign policy as Palin. And unlike Barack Obama who could become the most powerful man in the world in a few days Palin will not.

I was going to make this number 6 in our “double standard” series but I guess this goes into the whole racial issue which is a different class by itself.

 Nature magazine racist?

I’m tired of the race card being brought up so many times. At first it was Vogue Magazine and their magazine cover of Lebron James with Gisele Bundchen who some idiotic African American’s and Caucasians said had a resemblance to King Kong and Ann Denham. Now its Nature Magazine and a cover for their October magazine. Seriously people, rest it already. And as one person pointed out (and rightly so) both dogs are pretty old).

But I’ll let you decide for yourself. You can view the picture above and leave me your comments as to what you think. Have a nice day.

There is no doubt as to why most people have not heard this speech from MLK. Maybe its because of his heavy use of the scriptures, or maybe its because we are taught that its OK to compromise and we shouldn’t risk our lives for anything we believe. The speech transcript is below:

“I say to you, this morning, that if you have never found something so dear and precious to you that you will die for it, then you aren’t fit to live.

You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be, and one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls upon you to stand for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And you refuse to do it because you are afraid.

You refuse to do it because you want to live longer. You’re afraid that you will lose your job, or you are afraid that you will be criticized or that you will lose your popularity, or you’re afraid that somebody will stab or shoot or bomb your house. So you refuse to take a stand.

Well, you may go on and live until you are ninety, but you are just as dead at 38 as you would be at ninety.

And the cessation of breathing in your life is but the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit.

You died when you refused to stand up for right.

You died when you refused to stand up for truth.

You died when you refused to stand up for justice.”

Thanks to BoingBoing for this one!

Alton Logan & Andrew WilsonYes we have one of the best justice systems in the world but this thing about confidentiality between lawyers and their clients is obscured at the very least. How has it gotten to the point that a client can tell a lawyer vital information that could save lives and the lawyer is not required by law to share this info with the appropriate authorities?

What am I talking about? Well if you check out the post by MSNBC about Alton Logan who has been in prison for 26 years for a crime he has not committed. To make matters worse his lawyers wanted to tell public defendants that the man they were defending was innocent. Unfortunately they were not able to and had to watch as a man wasted 26 of his years behind bars while another walked free and even joked about it.

It was not until late last year when Andrew Wilson the real murderer died that attorneys were allowed to spill the beans about a man who they were forced to cover up for under penalty of the law. Seriously when will our justice system clear up?

Martin Luther King JuniorIts been 40 years since his death and what have we accomplished? Have we moved on to greater heights or has that “dream” been lost? Its ironic that the greatest “supporters” of Martin Luther King Juniors beliefs are some of his greatest enemies. Martin taught us that the “white man” owes no man anything (including blacks). He also taught us to live in harmony yet those who claim to live by these beliefs (Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson etc) are some of the most hate filled persons walking the face of this earth.

Why do we have Black and Hispanic caucus in Washington? Yet if we had a Caucasian caucus we would hear “RACISM” cried by “our spiritual leaders”. How come we have pastors who are allowed to preach hate from the pulpit and still are supported by the media? And most of all how come there is such a double standard in the living?

No offense to the Democratic party but if you go through history the Democratic party was and still is one of the major forces behind the suppression of black people. Yet 80% of blacks align themselves with this party. [Read]

Mr. Obama you’ve done it again. $40 million in march. Seriously people if this continues we might be looking at our first black President. Do I want him in office. Not exactly although I would take him over Hillary any day and maybe even McCain. I think now is the time for the Clinton’s to respectfully throw in the towels before its taken away from them. Do they know what dignity is anymore? Appearantly not as it has been stripped from them. Or is it they never had it to begin with?

Well here’s the story if you’re interested. Oh and BTW I think now is the time for him to totally cream Hillary and get along with his campaign. He’s loosing the interest of people fast (including myself) and McCain is waltzing away with all his friends (and women). At least he still got most the African American’s on his side.

Curtis JacksonOut of all the rappers to grace the scene in years 50cent is one who I could not stand. But since recent times that has been changing, don’t get me wrong I still despise most his songs and personally I believe he owes mothers an apology for some of the lyrics that grace his album.

But I cannot stop but admire certain moves he has made in recent years (Vitamin water to be exact) and most recently his switch of support from Hillary to Obama. According to Mr. Curtis Jackson (his real name) he has decided to support Obama after his speech on race (wasn’t it last September that he told Time he was voting for Hillary….duh like he liked any of the candidates on the other side of the spectrum).

According to Mr. Jackson Obma’s speech on race blew him away and was the deciding factor in his switch of support.

But as he said (something that I’ve been saying for weeks now) Obama and Hillary better rap up this thing or its going to hurt them in the general election. Their main rival is waltzing around town gaining an ever popular crowd (even among enemy allies) due to his slick moves (still not buying him though). Is anyone still paying attention to this old political primary news? Seriously lets get some life into the primaries and stop team killing.

Oh and Barack I have a suggestion. Doesn’t an Obama Curtis ticket sound interesting?

There are not too many things I agree with concerning the HBO adult show “The Boondocks.”

But at last I found something that I do agree with them, and that concerns Black Entertainment Television aka BET. Hey I’m not against television stations that cater primarily to a specific race or ethnic group. But when that medium is responsible for the damning of a race/ethnic group, the is a BIG problem. Why can’t we bring back the good old shows like the “Cosby Show” and such?

So what does this have to do with politics? As the minds of our youth are destroyed by such witchcraft guess who they gonna vote for? Hey if you cannot work (BET taught them that) and you cannot keep a family (again BET), what’s gonna happen to you? Did someone say WELFARE? And which political party is responsible for most of the welfare programs?

That’s all I’m saying. BTW here is the video… (viewer discretion is advised). Oh and BTW this show didn’t even make it to the air waves… (getting the picture?).

P.S If you’re still reading this (which probably means you still don’t hate me). I have one last question for you. Most of the executives and those who appear on the BET network…..which political party do they support?
