I’m going to be honest with you, Coldplay is my favorite band hands down and although I own every single CD they have ever released (and a few LP’s and EP’s) I have got to say that yes they did take inspiration from Joe Satriani for their hit song Viva La Vida.
In any case the bad ass guitarist is suing Coldplay for the success of their song and claims that “Viva” is way too similar to his 2004 instrumental If I could Fly. Taking into account that Viva La Vida topped the charts in 36 countries we could be talking huge sums here. But I’ll let you decide for yourself. I’ll be honest with you, James Bond has never been my cup of tea. Yeah I know Die Another Day was pretty tight (especially with Halle Berry), but to tell you the truth I have never been a Bond fan. And Daniel Craig as the new Bond is not helping my liking of the new series any more.
He might be grittier and more hardcore than the previous Bond’s but honestly I rather Sean or Pierce any day. But I’m telling you to go see this film for two reasons. Number one it has the new Aston Martin DBS and two, Olga Kurylenko. Need I say more?

Everyone is obsessed with Sarah Palin (McCain’s VP pick) and it doesn’t look like its going to slow down anytime soon. Latest on this saga? Tina Fey (from 30’s Rock) will be playing Sarah on SNL sometime in October.
I have to say that they do have a striking resemblance but seriously people this is getting out of hand. I thought people were obsessed with Obama, it looks like Sarah Palin obsession is even worse. Soon they’ll be treating this disease as SPOD (Sarah Palin Obsession Disorder)

If you have been thinking that what this guy has been presenting for the past couple of years is actual news I hate to bust your bubbles that you were right…NOT! So what are my thoughts on it? Well I haven’t gone to see the bloody film….and not sure I will. Although Barack planned to cut all campaign speeches the weekend it opened (although that never happened). But it has become a phenomena.
So I wonder what will happen when The Housewives leave TV. The handwriting is on the wall. Maybe their gay producer and writer Marc Cherry will wait the four years and bring them back to the big screen. Now that is something worth seeing. Eva is just super hot…..but she scares me….trying to kill your husband?

While I do agree their might be a little merit in the JT Jacko case (especially considering Jacko’s wacko ways) they is no shred of evidence to support the first one. While I agree you do have guys out there who are just as good as Michael Jordan (they just haven’t been discovered) there will only be one Jordan who can capture the hearts of the sports world.
So what is my take on the new portrayal of Shia as Hanks? Well I kinda gotta agree with this one. While I was never a huge fan of “Even Stevens” (Shia’s debut show) it did show his good acting qualities. Than when that left the air and the semi good performance of “Holes” many thought that his career was over. But last year with two blockbusters under his belt (Suburbia and who can forget Transformers) and now his latest stint with legendary actor Harrison Ford who can stop to think that he might be on to something.
If you notice when Tom Hanks first started his career of acting he was kind of quirky like Shia, but after landing some good roles (and the acting to back it up) he quickly became an audience favorite. I’m not about to say Shia is about to take his crown (I’ll leave that until his next two films) but what I can say it does seem like this kid is going places unlike so many other child actors who never make it on the adult scene.

Yes it is fact that Oprah has been receiving some bad ratings lately. What is not sure is what does it stem from. Is it her ties with Barack Obama (I’m thinking heck no) or is it her subtle denial of Christianity and growing acceptance of the New Age religion?
Well we can’t be sure for now but whatever it is it has been taking an impact on her ratings and reviews. But don’t write her off yet. There comes a time in every celebrities life where they experience the distaste of the media or the general public (ask Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson and Hilton that), but generally if their track record is good they can bounce back (that’s if you don’t happen to be one of Hollywood’s three biggest sluts).
During the 2005 era Martha Stewart experienced the same thing (most of it stemming from her Wall Street scheme) and although the media was quick to announce that it was the end of her career, 12 months later she came back with a vengeance. Although Tom Cruise has not really changed (except for his couch hopping Oprah stunt) general media and public opinion has slowly been changing for the better.
Its probably the same way for Oprah. Yes she is experiencing a not so good time in her career but who said the life of show biz was easy. I’m giving it the most 6 months to turn around. And if Barack happens to win the election it might skyrocket through the roof.

This one must have missed me. Anyways remember 3 days ago when I gave you a recap of the Top 10 surprising facts about Obama. Well obviously its Hillary’s turn. While Obama’s facts were a little wittier I have to hand it to Hillary. She did add her lady charm to it. But that’s just my opinion. Judge for yourself.
