Joanna Krupa’s nude PETA ad gets Catholics in a fit

PETA is no stranger to controversy, and anyone who knows anything about the organization knows that their racy ads are sometimes over the top. But this latest one has garnered the condemnation of many in the Catholic church because according to them it is sacrilegious. We’ll let you be the judge of that. Check out both pictures of the Maxim bombshell using a well placed cross to cover her assets while innocent animals below look on.

“The fact is that cats and dogs are a lot safer in pet stores than they are in the hands of PETA employees,” Catholic League President Bill Donohue said in a statement. “Moreover, pet stores don’t rip off Christian iconography and engage in cheap irreligious claims.”
“PETA is a fraud,” Donohue continued. “It also has a long and disgraceful record of exploiting Christian and Jewish themes to hawk its ugly services. Those who support this organization sorely need a reality check. They also need a course in Ethics 101.”
Krupa issued a statement responding to the Catholic League, saying: “As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads. I’m doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of God’s creation.”

Penelope Cruz is one of the most famous Spanish actresses to gain critical acclaim in the U.S and after checking out a few of her films its not hard to see why. But it’s kinda funny because when I watched Spanglish a few years back, while I knew it wasn’t her, I was wondering why the actress looked so close to Cruz. Turns out that Paz Vega is also a Spanish actress and even though she hasn’t done as many Hollywood films as Penelope, both ladies have a striking resemblance. Check out the gallery below for proof.

Its an established fact that Katy Perry is probably the hottest new act on the music scene. However, as is the case, there’s always competition. In this case however, the competition is from another celebrity in a different field, acting. I’m not sure what to make of this, yes we’ve always known that Angelina Jolie has been a ‘bad girl’ even before she got into acting, but at 16? I’m not gonna complain because the photos are stunning, but 16 is quite young to be doing such racy shoots….wouldn’t you agree?
