RNC spends $150,000 on Palin wardrobe

Who gives a damn about how much the RNC spends on Palin. Seriously people, this obsession with Palin is way out of hand. Presentation is just as much a part of a campaign as is the message. And frankly I don’t think anyone has a problem with it, because I sure no neither you (nor I) would vote for McCain if Palin looked like she had been doing laundry all day.

I wonder why we’re not hearing about the thousands of dollars Mrs. Obama spent on her caviare dinner that was purchased with campaign funds? Oh I forgot, she is the wife of the messiah Barack Hussein Obama.

Democrat journalist Orson Scott Card

Democrat journalist Orson Scott Card

Finally someone got it right. Orson Scott Card has finally said something that every major news network (with the exception of Fox) was not willing to say. You will find the letter below.

This housing crisis didn’t come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.

It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans. …

This was completely foreseeable and in fact many people did foresee it. One political party, in Congress and in the executive branch, tried repeatedly to tighten up the rules. The other party blocked every such attempt and tried to loosen them.

Furthermore, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were making political contributions to the very members of Congress who were allowing them to make irresponsible loans. (Though why quasi-federal agencies were allowed to do so baffles me. It’s as if the Pentagon were allowed to contribute to the political campaigns of Congressmen who support increasing their budget.)

Isn’t there a story here? Doesn’t journalism require that you who produce our daily paper tell the truth about who brought us to a position where the only way to keep confidence in our economy was a $700 billion bailout? Aren’t you supposed to follow the money and see which politicians were benefiting personally from the deregulation of mortgage lending?

I have no doubt that if these facts had pointed to the Republican Party or to John McCain as the guilty parties, you would be treating it as a vast scandal. “Housing-gate,” no doubt. Or “Fannie-gate.”

Instead, it was Senator Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, both Democrats, who denied that there were any problems, who refused Bush administration requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and who were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the minute they failed. …

Yet when Nancy Pelosi accused the Bush administration and Republican deregulation of causing the crisis, you in the press did not hold her to account for her lie. Instead, you criticized Republicans who took offense at this lie and refused to vote for the bailout!

Your job, as journalists, is to tell the truth. That’s what you claim you do, when you accept people’s money to buy or subscribe to your paper.

But right now, you are consenting to or actively promoting a big fat lie — that the housing crisis should somehow be blamed on Bush, McCain, and the Republicans. You have trained the American people to blame everything bad — even bad weather — on Bush, and they are responding as you have taught them to.

If you had any personal honor, each reporter and editor would be insisting on telling the truth — even if it hurts the election chances of your favorite candidate.

I am pissed at Congress. No I am not mad at the President or Barack or even McCain. But the freakin’ idiots that we have up there. We just experienced the greatest one day lost on the DOW and all I can hear the dumbass democrats up in Washington do is blame the Republicans for not passing the bill.

You called their commander in chief a fucking idiot for crying out loud and you expect them to vote with you? If your bill is so grand, why not pass it yourself, after all you have all the votes to do so. Pass the damn bill and take all the credit for it. I’m sure it will suite you well in the upcoming elections.

Oh wait I forgot its the crappiest bill ever thought of in a long time. You’re telling me that a bill that gives over $20 billion to liberal organizations is such a good idea? All you idiots want is the Republicans to put their signatures on that thing and than you (along with the drive by media) use it as a beating stick in their back sin a couple days.

I thought this was supposed to be the Congress that fixed the problems we had when the Republicans were in a few years ago? So much for all your good plans. And don’t tell me its because of the President. Because the President backed allot of this bill and people were still outraged about it. So he was on your side for once and you still missed by a mile. Heck crude oil has dropped $11 today but it doesn’t even make sense cause half the people are more concerned about keeping their car than filling her up at the pump.

Yes we lost more in one day ($1 Trillion) than this bailout would have cost us ($700 billion), but guess what, these greedy banks and loan sharks need to pay for their crimes. I don’t care if its gonna cost us 10 years before we have another record day on Wallstreet. But giving the banks nearly $1 Trillion to deal with the problems they created is just as bad as giving your teenager a gun to fix the problems he started.

eclggstffeujucpucnom7w-300x188 Obama voters more fearful than McCain voters

I don’t have many nice things to say about either political party but this time I have to pick at the Democratic party. A new poll released today by Gallup shows that Obama voters are more fearful (73%) that the economy is in a recession or depression than McCain voters (45%).

Isn’t this telling us something? Apparently Obama is operating a campaign based on scaring people into voting for him. If more than half of your voters are voting for you because they are afraid of the other candidate or things that are currently happening than something is wrong.

That’s what it appears from the looks of a new electoral vote map from the LA Times.

These attacks on Palin are 100% sexist. And finally some on the other side of the spectrum is agreeing with me on this. WomenCount, the group co-founded by Susie Tompkins Buell (a top Hillary supporter) is finally speaking out against the media’s bias towards Palin and her motherly ties.

“The very notion that Sarah Palin should not have accepted this nomination because she is a mother with demanding challenges underscores just how far we have to go,” wrote Rosemary Camposano, the group’s communications director.

Don’t get me wrong. The group in no way supports the politics of Sarah Palin. They are just tired of the sexism that they claim is abundant in politics. As I have said before, when Hillay was running we never heard anything about this (even though she couldn’t keep up with Bill’s belt buckle) but as soon as a republican woman comes on the stage, they claim her family ties are too strong for her to complete the task given her.

I had no idea that John Voight was a republican. Than again I should have known, taking into account that there is a secret hatred for him in Hollywood and his daughter Angelina Jolie dispises him.

Anyways the video of his RNC recap can be viewed below. Enjoy.

We ehard from so many democratic woman that its high time for a woman to be in office. We also heard that those who disagreed with Hillary for running for the WHite House because she was a woman were being sexist (which is 100% true).

So where are all these so called women activists who were defending Hillary? Palin is facing attack after attack from all sides. And some of the major ones have to do that she is a mother who is going to be too tied up in family affairs to be able to handle the VP position.

So why aren’t these liberal female media personalities defending the woman? Oh I forgot she is Republican.

People from this we have learned that a woman can run for the white house and be qualified as long as she is a Democrat. WHen she is a Republican, she can never be qualified for the job.

I only caught the last part of McCain’s speech on the TV last night as I came in late. But after watching the full hour speech and listening to liberal and conservative commentaries on it, I can safely say that McCain gave a winning blow.

Don’t get me wrong, I have in no respect put down my guards concerning McCain. Just like most politicians out there, I believe he is corrupt but picking between him and Barack I am starting to lean over to his side. For once I hear from the mouth of the horse that he has divided the party and that the Republican party needs to get back. Unfortunately no such thing was heard from the DNC which makes me wonder.

BTW the full hour long video can be viewed below (just in case you missed it).

This has to be one of the best speeches of this years RNC. But before I give my opinions you can view the entire 45 minute speech in all its glory below. And fail not to leave your thoughts in a comment below.
