Is Vladimir trying to send Bush a subtle message not to f*** with him and his men in Georgia? I’m not sure that this lunatic believes that this will actually give him some credence, but in any case its quite interesting.

knievel-235x300 Evil Kenievel...really evil?He never denied his brushes with the law. But some new FBI files that have been unearthed on the late Evil Kenievel are showing that the word Evil in his name might have gone a little farther than those death defying stunts he used to pull off.

As things turns out the guy might have been involved in a series of beatings. And while he did go to jail for one of them it was never really pressed further by the government or the media. But now that he is dead the cookie jar is being opened and some pretty damning things are being released.

I’m not one who believes in karma, and I definitely do not believe that a man should be punished for something just because he escaped doing time for another. And just before you think that I am saying O.J was innocent for killing his wife I can assure you that while I don’t think he did it he had something to do with it.

But that does not mean he should be prosecuted on false witnesses. After all, every single one of the witness was a former convict and some made over $200,000 selling the scandalous tapes to TMZ.

Of course he is going to appeal it and I am almost sure that he’ll get off. After all the police who arrested him said “LA can’t save him now.” And more than a few of the jurors thought he was guilty in the death of his wife.

For those of you who have always been interested in finding out what is under Ms. Carano’s shirt, apparently she has allowed Maxim (the kiddies version of Playboy) to do the honors. Seriously, what’s wrong with these wrestling stars and their nudity?

And this is not an incentive for you to go and get the latest issue, its just counted as news.

Steve Colligan

I don’t make a habit of lying but just in case you do believe this is a fib you can ask the rider himself. BTW his name is Steve Colligan although I fail to see how you will be able to reach him at the moment as he must be finalizing his will and paying his respects before he ends risks his life on this insane idea.

Steve Colligan plans to do the 600-mile stretch from Lhasa in Tibet to Kathmandu in Nepal. The 47-year-old british citizen is doing it for charity (raising money for some school in Nepal). Of course he will also hold the record for being the Evil Knievel of unicyclists.

Of course he is taking precautions. He will be using a mountain unicycle to attempt the record breaking stunt.

Elin WoodsElin Nordegren, Tiger Woods wife is pregnant according to her Golf superstar husband. Woods who has not played since winning the US Open in June said that he was thrilled about being a father. Although Woods was an only child (his wife Elin has a twin sister), he says that they want to have more than one child.

While not being specific as to the due date for his son, Woods said that they are expecting their second child in late Winter.

Lets hope that this little boy/girl will take on her father’s heritage, although I know there are many who are hoping that will not be the case. What’s up with the haters these days?

751371-thumb Castro defended this?

That is the actual picture of Angel Valodia Matos of Cuba kicking referee Chakir Chelbat during his mens +80kg bronz taekwondo bout against Arman Chilmanov of Kazakhstan at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

The stunt got the brother banned for life from the sport. Yet former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro has defended his actions. According to Castro, Matos is justified because he could not control himself due to his anger that his coach earlier and just let it loose.

I thought we do not justify actions no matter how pure their motives were? Castro is pretty pissed at the entire ordeal including a couple others because due to some Beijing Olympic disciplinary actions which left the small island without a single gold medal during the games.

bolt_phelps the greatest Olympian ever?

The games have been played; the medals have been won and for the first time in history a total of 300 gold medals have been awarded. And out of the 300 gold medals awarded, China and the US have taken home over two thirds of them.

But I got a little bone to pick with NBC, CNN, FOX, CBS and the rest of the media. I know every country will try and pull there own victories out of the Olympics (no matter how small) and make it something big. After all, the whole idea of the Olympics these days is to see which country can produce the biggest athletes. And I must agree that the US has done the best job at stealing some of the best titles in the games. But I think the media is going a little too far by proclaiming Michael Phelps as the greatest Olympian ever.

Yes I agree that he has won an unprecedented 8 gold medals, but aren’t we forgetting something? For one, while swimming has been one of the greatest sports in the Olympics in recent decades, it still has not been the defining mark of the ultimate Olympian. That would go to the man who can win and break the record in the 100 meters dash.

Since the birth of the Olympics, winning a race has been the ultimate defining mark of a true Olympian (after all that is what the games were started off). So how come I hear NBC and others claiming Phelps is the greatest. Are they forgetting the brother who broke three world records, once in the men’s 100m dash, 200m dash and the 400m men’s relay? Even the Chinese have lauded Usain Bolt and the Jamaican team as being the all stars of the 2008 Beijing Olympics (and that coming from the Chinese, you know it must be true), no offense to them.

Should we be proud of our countries achievements? Hell yeah! But we shouldn’t exaggerate. Whether it’s because Michael Phelps has more advertising and commercial power than Bolt, or it’s because we’re prejudice that a third world country has captured the heart of the 08’ Olympics. Either way it’s not cool.

According to the Chinese Olympic Comity there are certain rules you have to obey while in their country attending their Olympics (and I stress the word THEIR). Such things as Miniskirts are not allowed, men must keep their shirts on. Eating outside or bars anywhere near Olympic venues is also banned.

And just not to seem unfair, no banners more than 2 meters long can be waived. And pro Chinese banners (waved by the Chinese citizens of course) are not allowed. This is going to be one interesting Olympics…

Care to bet what happens before the games are over?

2008_olympic

The Olympics are here once again. And from the looks of things its setting up to be one of the most popular and highly attended events ever (and I guess this has something to do with the 2.5 billion people who live in its host country). Although I’ve never liked the idea of China holding it (Olympics and communism do not mix) but maybe, just maybe this will give the Chinese people the little fire they need to hang all their oppressors.

As to the winner I’m betting everything on USA. Its a no show here as the great US of A always gets the star players even when they are not born in this country. But its always nice to see the underdogs compete. Hopefully there will be a surprise in it when we are finished.
